I ImgBurn Version 2. I Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate Edition 6. I Operation Started! I Filling Buffer The ISO was not ripped using the proper method. Some people illegally download ISOs from sites like xboxiso and they may have been ripped by n00bs that don't know what they're doing.
Even some scene groups are putting out XGD3 rips that haven't been ripped using c4eva's new firmware and as such they will not work. You didn't follow the burning instructions correctly, or you're using an older version of the burning software that isn't capable of burning the XGD3 isos properly.
ImgBurn 2. Other versions may work too, but those versions definitely work. The burn is bad - could be a one off bad burn, a bad batch of discs, you're using crap discs, or your burner may be dying. Your drive is spoofed as this is causing issues for some people. Perhaps other burners have the same issue, or are rebranded LGs.
That about covers it, but I can't specifically say "the problem is definitely X" cos there's too many unknowns. You'll just have to cross off any of the things from the list that you know definitely aren't causing the problem and then try and narrow down the cause from the remaining things on the list.
Just tried burning Rage disc 2. I hit truncate and after that screen the L0 failed screen came up. I clicked continue and the disc finished burning. I loaded the game and it seems to work, but I can't play it because it's disc 2 disc 1 didn't finish downloading at the time. I'm burning disc 1 now, got the same L0 error after the truncate screen.
Is the L0 capacity failed screen supposed to show up? Aiur , Oct 6, There are no actual error message pop up boxes for me with the new version of ImgBurn. When I hit burn, the only box that pops up is the one saying that the image is too large, asking if I want to overburn or truncate. Once I select truncate, the disc burns and finalises without any other pop up boxes appearing.
Errors do still show in the ImgBurn log though: - W Optimal layer break position exceeds L0 capacity. Nice for imgburn to update and not make us press all those extra buttons. Yeah, it still gives those errors in the log but it don't impact the burn. I can post a log tomorrow if you really want to compare them. When i goto Automatic Write Speed there is no disk id in the settings, am i doing something wrong? There is no need to do that remember disc speed stuff unless you need to have separate speed for a lot of different disc brands.
Here is a typical log for me so if anyone needs to compare they now have the ability. W User accepted disc space warning and is attempting to truncate! I Operation Started! I Writing Session 1 of I Closing Track I Finalising Disc I Exporting Graph Data I Graph Data File: private I don't now what's wrong.
Could be the Hitachi drives laser failing. Can you fully install XGD3 games you have burned in the past? Can you install any legit games? InsaneNutter , Sep 16, As original games seem fine it could possibly be the drive burning the games with that in mind, is the drive you are using on the compatible list in the first post?
Could also be the quality of the media are the Verbatim discs defiantly genuine? If you still have no luck all I can really think to suggest is trying a different discs or possible a different drive to burn with. InsaneNutter , Sep 17, You must log in or sign up to reply here.
